Bombara Wave Attenuation Modules

JMC was engaged by Subcon on behalf of the City of Cockburn to deploy 135 3-tonne wave attenuating fringing modules at CY O’Connor Beach to help address over 50 meters of shoreline erosion.

In a world first, Subcon’s specially designed Bombara modules were made with environmentally-friendly concrete and will simultaneously create marine habitats. In addition to installation, our contribution also involved loading and transporting the heavy modules while minimising our environmental impact.
